NOMU NOMS are creators of sustainable chocolate just as it should be… Straight from the Earth, returned to the Earth & not costing our Earth.
We have teamed with Mother Nature herself and used exactly what she offers us to create our ultra indulgent NOMS with as little interference as possible. Made from vegan, ethically sourced materials, we are blenders and translators of ingredients.
NOMU have brought together a plant-based pocket treat that should be eaten as a moment of contemplation, relaxation and self-care. NOMU loves not only the planet but ALL the living things on it – you included!

Our Modes of Ethical Inclusion
SOURCING
We consider everything from how soil affects flavour of our ethically sourced cacao & the carbon footprint of getting these raw ingredients to our Chocolate HQ right down to the natural hue of ingredients, powered by plants.
CREATION
Our first grade macadamias are locally farmed & toasted to perfection, providing the exact creamy crunch needed to harmonise with our chocolate. The cacao bean is pressed to extract the natural plant butter that already exists in the pod – this becomes the delicate silky smooth texture within our chocolate that ensures our work with only premium quality couvertures.
IMPACT
NOMU NOMS’ commitment to the earth doesn’t stop at what you eat; we have given equal amounts of love to our packaging. Each time a packet is opened, the sustainability loop is closed, with the option to return and refill in-store or home garden compost. Because our products come in small packages, we have developed a system that has a nearly zero-carbon footprint giving you an extra reason to indulge while being kind to the planet.

We Are
HOME COMPOSTABLE PACKAGING
The three films used to make our packaging are derived from sustainably-produced wood pulp and GM-free corn sources, and each film has been certified to either the European or Australian home compostable standards (OK Compost Home or AS5810).
Simply put this wrapper can be disposed of in a home composting environment containing heat, water, oxygen, soil and micro-organisms.
Our packaging has been through a rigorous testing process to prove that it biodegrades to its natural components from as little as 28 weeks, leaving only safe compost with which to nourish the next season’s planting.
